Business Ethics Institute of Malaysia (BEIM) is an independent non-profit organization that was formed with the sole purpose of driving greater business ethics on the national forefront. Founded in 1997, BEIM promotes ethics through education, inculcation, and nurturing of values such as honesty, fairness, integrity, and self-regulation among businesses in Malaysia.

We are committed to raising the awareness and acceptance of transparency and integrity in business among the various national stakeholders including business owners, executives, students and individuals who are willing to take the bold step of joining us in our dream of establishing Malaysia as a champion of ethical business practices.

K. Haridas

CHAIRMAN

Mr K. Haridas is the Chairman of Business Ethics Institute of Malaysia, having been involved in the set up and progress of BEIM since its early days. He has also served as the Executive Committee Member of the International Movement for a Just World till two years ago. 

Mr. Haridas is actively involved in the NGO sector, including work with 'Insaf', an interfaith spiritual fellowship. He serves on the Mediation Committee of the national interfaith group under the National Unity Department, and previously held roles as International Council and Executive Board Member of Initiatives of Change International in Geneva.

He is currently Chairman of MRA–Initiatives of Change Malaysia, leading clean election and anti-corruption campaigns globally, and also serves as President of the Association for Promotion of Higher Education Malaysia (APHEM).

An experienced facilitator and speaker at national and international conferences, his interests include interfaith dialogue, ethics, integrity, peace, justice, mediation, and civilisational issues.
