Below is an excerpt from Malaysia Today’s Top Glove eyeing Thailand expansion article:
Top Glove, Malaysia’s largest natural rubber glove manufacturer, is considering further expanding in Thailand, the Nikkei Asian Review (NAR) reported. This is because of Malaysia’s flip-flop foreign worker policy. It has four facilities in Thailand, with one more slated to start operations by December 2016. Top Glove finds Thailand’s Rubber City, located 946km south of Bangkok, attractive. The rubber city expects to attract USD10 billion in investment as well as boost rubber consumption and prices.
